Tender Details

A Mandatory tender briefing will be held at Nepean Dam on Tuesday 27 March 2007, commencing at 9:30am.

The depth at which the supply water is drawn off from the stored waters of the Dam can be varied to select best quality water for supply by altering the Stopboard and Screen configuration. During a configuration change, the present method of stacking the Stopboards against a wall poses an OH&S risk. The intent of this project is to alleviate this OH&S risk.

This specification is for the design, manufacture, modification and installation of:

Woronora Dam

One (1) movable storage rack for Stopboards and Screens to be located within the Upper Valve.
One (1) fixed Storage rack for the Emergency Gate to be located within the Upper Valve House.
Two (2) fixed storage racks for Stopboards and Screens, one located in each of the two Penstock Wells within the Upper Valve House.
One (1) Lifting Frame for the movement of Stopboards.
Modify 42 Stopboards and 4 Screens to accommodate the new lifting frame.
