The building to be constructed will accommodate the SCA operational staff at Warragamba Dam and a visitor information facility that supports the SCAs education program delivered at the site.
In summary the building is an architect designed single level structure. The office component of the building is open plan; the multi-use education spaces are designed for audio visual and classroom type activities and incorporate an area for the display of interpretive and educational material. The building is air conditioned, but the ventilation system will be also automated to enable it to use passive natural ventilation when conditions are suitable.
