Sydney Trains seeks proposals for a new and innovative business model for provision of customer information product on railway stations and related services that meet or exceed customer expectations.

This RFP seeks to modernise the way Sydney Trains and NSW Trains provides customers information on railway stations and to establish an agile business model with a technology service provider that shall provide existing and new Product “as a service”

Sydney Trains is seeking responses to this Request for Proposal from suppliers who have a demonstrative ability to meet its requirements for:

• a range of new and innovative customer information products that enhance the customer experience and delivers value for money for the NSW community including, but not limited to; timetable displays, station indicator boards, interactive kiosks, help / information points;
  
• ownership and management of existing station passenger information digital screens / displays and specified IT systems;
  
• a cost effective replacement and/or upgrade program for the existing Product portfolio that delivers significant customer benefits and delivers value for money for the NSW Community.

The customer information systems excluded from this RFP are: station public address systems, clocks and train systems. However, Principal reserves its rights to include such systems with the contracted supplier in accordance with the contract and NSW Government procurement policies.
