Tender Details
Sydney Trains Maintenance Directorate requires a steady supply of specialised high end multi-screen computer workstations and monitors for replacement at Sydney Signal Box, Strathfield Signal Box, Sydenham Signal Box, Rail Management Centre and relay rooms at remote site locations.
The Workstation is the user interface of Automatic Train Running and Information Control System (ATRICS) and allows the signallers, maintainers and signal electricians to view all train movements in their area and for signallers to introduce control function. The Workstations are a vital element of the ATRICS. The monitors being procured will connect to the Workstations.
The Cyclic Steady State Maintenance project is aimed to periodically replace the existing ATRICS Workstation equipment at Signal Boxes and Control Rooms which have reached or about to reach their end of support from the manufacturers. It will provide an outcome that will minimise the likelihood of random failures associated with the Workstation equipment due to extended runtimes, and also minimise the variety of spares needed to maintain the system. It will also accommodate for rapid technology changes.
This procurement is for the Supply of ATRICS Workstation Computers and Monitors including spares and warranty. Total Number of units is 800 which includes:
• Tower Workstation: 257
• SFF Workstation: 93
• 30” LCD Screens: 392
• 46” LCD Screens: 42
• 19” LCD Screens: 16
