Tender Details
RfEOI to understand market capability to deliver a modernised Station Information Management System (SIMS).
Sydney trains currently uses the Passenger Information Control System (PICS) and Line Information Control System (LICS) to communicate real time information to customers at stations through audio announcements and visual display screens. These are business critical systems that allow operators to control the display of passenger information across multiple platforms at a station (PICS) or line of stations (LICS).
The current systems are life expired and have become complex to manage.
Sydney Trains is conducting a Request for Expressions of Interest (RfEOI) to understand market capability, available technologies and cost implications of procuring and implementing a modernised Station Information Management System (SIMS).
No contract will be awarded as part of the RfEOI. At Sydney Trains' discretion, a sub-sequent tender may take place and include shortlisted suppliers/responses only.
