Tender Details

 BACKGROUND

Sydney Trains' RMU Replacement Program along with Transport for NSW's (TfNSW) various upgrade programs have necessitated the requirement for a Supply Agreement for 11kV AC Ring Main Units over the next 3 - 5 years. 


TENDER BASIS

Sydney Trains is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (“the RFT”) from suppliers who have a demonstrative ability to meet its requirements for the supply and delivery of 11kV AC Ring Main Units in this RFT (“the Goods”) at such times and in such quantities that may be required.     


SCOPE OF THE RFP

This RFT is for the supply and delivery of 11kV AC RMUs. On site Installation is not required.

The Ring Main Units shall comply with EP 01 00 00 03 SP – 11kV AC Switchgear - RMU Suitable for Indoor and Kiosk Installation, unless specified otherwise in the tender.

DELIVERY

As a minimum, the delivery of the RMUs to Sydney Trains depots in metropolitan Sydney DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) is required.


CONTRACT TERM

Contract term will be of three years with options for extension to two periods of 1 year each.

 

ORDERING

Purchase Orders for RMUs from the awarded supplier are to be ordered through a catalogue. These catalogue orders will be issued electronically to the contracted supplier.

RFT Type

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender.
