The Endeavour Xplorer Refurbishment includes reliability and customer experience improvements. The fleets consist of 23 Xplorer Rail Cars and 28 Endeavour Rail Cars. The scope of works includes 11 Separable Portions presented as Work Packages listed below: 

1. Refrigeration Works

2. Air Conditioning Works

3. Coupler - Mechanical & Electrical Works

4. Passenger Body Side Doors Works

5. Toilet System Works

6. Intercar Gangways Works

7. Internal Paint Works

8. Passenger Seats / Floor Coverings / Curtains

9. LED Saloon Lighting Works

10. Internal Branding

11. Vandalism Detection and Surveillance System Works

The Scope also includes optional on condition and maintenance works that may be conducted as part of the proposed agreement.

The RFP also provides an Option for External Livery which may be awarded to the successful tenderer subject to funding approval.
