Sydney Trains & NSW Trains / Supply of Aggregate inc. Ballast - WS3931742913

Sydney Trains is requesting information related to the supply of aggregates, including ballast.

The purpose of this RFI is to ascertain the different suppliers capable of supplying various types of aggregates, including ballast for Sydney Trains’ rail network.

The information sought is pertinent to supply capability, delivery lead times, transport requirements, and the ability to maintain stockpile of ballast at nominated loading location. 

Sydney Trains is inviting a response from suppliers interested in meeting Sydney Trains’ requirements to enable assessment of the market conditions for this category. 

The information gathered from this RFI will be assessed and used in the establishment of a sourcing strategy for ballast and aggregates that Sydney Trains will procure over the next twenty years.

Respondents shall note however, that Sydney Trains shall not be obliged to issue a Request for Tender (RFT) or to invite any Respondent to submit a tender.
