The upgrade of the interchange will involve a Kiss and Ride for improved commuter drop off and pickup; three dedicated bus bays; a new parking lot for additional customer car-parking bays including disabled parking; upgrade of existing parking lots on the south and north west side of the rail station to comply with current Australian Standards; covered walkways to the station entry; and other items such as bus shelters, taxi shelters, bicycle lockers, bins, seating and public phone.
