Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales / Panels for Provision of Design Services - APR No. 08/04083

Rail Corporation New South Wales (RailCorp) is embarking on a programme to upgrade the rail infrastructure throughout the RailCorp network in New South Wales.

The Engineering Division of RailCorp is pursuing a Business Plan where it extends its Design Resources and Capabilities through the use of external resources to meet the increasing demand for design activities. To achieve this aim the Engineering Division, through its Project Delivery area is preparing to expand a series of Design Panels.  

The following are broad categories of stakeholders’ areas, each requiring external Professional & Technical Services resources to balance out peak demand for Design & Documentation and Program Management.

The Panels to be expanded are: -

Panel 30 (Transmission Lines (HV Aerial Lines))

Panel 31 (Cable Route)

Panel 32 (Earthing & Bonding)

Panel 32A (HV Protection)

Panel 33 (OHW)

Panel 34 (High/Low voltage Distribution)

Panel 28 (Survey Design Services)

Organisations not currently on one or more of the above listed Panels are invited to register for inclusion for one or more of the above design panels of railway-experienced and qualified Designers for a thirty six (36) month period, with up to two (2) possible extensions of twelve (12) months each.  Existing Panel members will be separately invited to confirm their interest in remaining on the Panels for which they are currently registered.

NSW Regions: Central West, Hunter, Illawarra, Sydney

Expression of Interest For Pre-Qualification - An invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a type of work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria. RFT may then be invited from a panel of providers (as Selective, or Invited).
