Provision of ISO 9001 Certification and Surveillance Audits

RailCorp’s Asset Management Group (AMG) is responsible for the management of RailCorp assets including strategic planning, acquisition and performance management of Infrastructure and Rolling Stock assets and the delivery of safe and reliable rail.

AMG has been certified to ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) since October 1992. According to RailCorp procurement policies, providing professional services for strategic procurements such as ISO 9001 Certification and Surveillance Audits should have professional service contracts. To comply with this requirement, the ABIQ unit of the AMG’s Strategic Management Division is developing a procurement contract.

In order that AMG maintains certification services, supplier evaluation will include the following requirements. Other RailCorp groups or divisions may also use the selected supplier’s services
