Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales / On Track Herbicide Spraying - WS78890

The scope of works involves the application of herbicide to the ballasted areas (and associated infrastructure) of the rail network owned and managed by RailCorp. The RailCorp Network extends from Bomaderry in the south to Newcastle in the north to Bowenfels in the west. This contract will also include the supply of specified herbicides and adjuvants as requested by RailCorp. The works may be required anywhere within the RailCorp Network.

The Term of the proposed Contract is 3 years. RailCorp, at its sole discretion, may extend the Term by up to 2 further periods of up to 1 year each.

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.
