Rail Corporation New South Wales (RailCorp) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for an information management system to collect, store, track and report hazards, to be known as the Hazard Log Management System (HLMS).

For RailCorp purposes a Hazard Log is defined as, The continually updated record of the Hazards, accident sequences and accidents associated with a system. It includes information documenting risk management for each Hazard and Accident.

A Hazard Log is used and maintained as the principal means of managing and resolving hazards.  It provides:

o                project definitive record of all identified hazards;

o                traceability of hazards, their causes, consequences, safety controls and requirements;

o                a record of all supporting safety activities.

It also facilitates day to day management of hazards and recording of safety related decisions made.

RailCorp is seeking a Tenderer that can provide a base software package to deliver the majority of the required functionality in its standard state and with minimal enhancement.  The Tenderer will provide the necessary enhancement and/or configuration, implementation and testing, training and on-going maintenance and support.
