Narara
Carpark
The
extension to the existing carpark is to be constructed
on a railway-owned parcel of land on the Eastern side of the Railway station at
Narara. The works shall comprise but not be limited to:
- Carry out a survey and locate
position of the new carpark.
- Conduct a services search of
the site before commencing any excavation for footings/ pavement etc i.e.
Dial Before You Dig .
- Provide traffic management
measures for the duration of works.
- Erect and maintain barriers and
signage to protect persons and property from injury or damage during the
works
- Remove redundant services and
cap off at boundary of site.
- Excavate carpark
area to levels as per typical pavement detail. Allow for inspection of
sub-grade and base course by RailCorp.
- Provide new stormwater drainage,
as specified on drawings 06132-C01-A, 06132-C02-A and 06132-C03-A.
- Provide concrete kerb and
gutter as specified on drawings 06132-C01-A, 06132-C02-A and 06132-C03-A.
- Supply, lay and compact roadbase sub-grade and asphalt surfacing to typical pavement
detail, as shown on drawing 06132-C01-A, 06132-C02-A and 06132-C03-A.
- Supply road signage, as shown
on drawing 06132-C01-A, 06132-C02-A and 06132-C03-A.
- Paint road line-marking to car
parking bays (include easy access), as shown on drawing 06132-C01-A,
06132-C02-A and 06132-C03-A.
- Provide new landscaping as
shown on drawing 06132-C01-A, 06132-C02-A and 06132-C03-A.
- Remove and dispose of, in an
approved manner, all hazardous materials found in the course of the works,
in accordance with EPA regulations.
- Make good to any surfaces
damaged during construction.
- Remove and dispose building
refuse from the site and leave site clean and ready for use.
- Carry out all electrical works
as detailed in the specification and drawing 1578-E01[A} and 1578
Electrical Specification[A]070220, including aerial connection to existing
power pole, arranging and paying for Energy supply, provision of new power
pole with new distribution board, new electrical pits, new underground
conduits and wiring, new lighting poles and fittings.
