A new concept design has been prepared for an expansion of the Petersham RCT Centre and a DA lodged on 19 July 2007.The expansion of the Petersham RCT centre is required to be completed, including installation of the Simulators by Reliance Rail, by June 2009.During the construction period for these works, the existing Petersham centre will need to be kept in operation. Early planning for any relocation of RailCorp training operations is critical and the sequence of works and impacts on training must be planned and agreed with RailCorp.The purpose of this Contract is to appoint a Project Manager to manage the project, on behalf of RailCorp, to its successful completion. The Project Manager will report to the RailCorp Maintenance Facility and Enabling Works Director -RailCorp Representative.Prime Objectives of Project Managers Role:To plan, schedule, manage, coordinate and report on all aspects of Petersham RCT centre expansion works to ensure the Rolling Stock PPP project objectives are delivered within required timeframes, cost constraints, quality standards and scope guidelinesTo ensure that the construction work has minimal impact on RailCorp operations and Reliance Rails Simulator installation works.
