Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales / Provision of Panel for Financial Advisory Services for Corporate Finance - 2007/0803P

RailCorp invites tenders from selected accounting firms for the establishment of a priced panel for the Provision of Financial Accounting Advice.

It is intended that:

The successful panel members will be comprised of firms with accountants who have the relevant qualifications and experience in providing accounting advice in the application of accounting standards to external reporting and providing sound advice on accounting issues, which advice is acceptable to RailCorp's external auditors.

The successful panel members will be engaged (as required) to provide advice on the application of accounting standards or the accounting treatment proposed for a specified accounting issue. The panel will be established for a 12 month period with an option to extend the panel for a further two (2) periods of up to twelve (12) months each, at RailCorp's sole discretion. The number of Panel Members selected will depend on proposals received and the outcome of the evaluation process.  However, it is anticipated that four (4) Service Providers will be appointed.

Approval was sought in accordance with RailCorp's procurement guidelines to call select tenders. Invitations will only be sent to those firms that were approved.
