Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales / Station Building Upgrade and Platform Works at Macquarie Fields Station - 2006/1214

The location of the proposed work is at Macquarie Fields Station.

The intention of this tender is to appoint a Contractor to construct the structures & install services as detailed in the technical requirement in mentioned station through all activities up to commissioning of the upgraded facilities.

The scope of work under this contract generally comprises the following according to work areas:

ENTRY PLATFORM No.2:

-Widening of  Entry Platform No.2 and associated works

-Extension of the associated canopy & components

-Installation of new handrails on both sides of the pedestrian ramp

-Supply & installation of new platform seating & furniture

-Coordination for the relocation of Public Addressing System Elements & all fixings

-Coordination for the relocation of CCTV Cameras System Elements & all fixings

-Relocation of existing public telephone from the location in front of the Station Managers Office

STATION BUILDING:

-Façade Cladding & associated works-Doors, Windows, Gutters etc.

-Internal refurbishment works including installation of Solar tubes on roof

-Removal of wall mounted AC units & installing a new AC unit with ceiling mounted diffusers as shown in the plans.

PASSENGER SHELTER:

-Dismantling& removal of the existing passenger shelter

-Installation of new shelter with all associated components (seats, lighting etc.)
