Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales / MAINTENANCE TENDER FOR PASSIVE FIRE ASSETS - 08/04077

RailCorp is a New South Wales Government Agency constituted under the Transport Administration Act 1988 (NSW), with responsibility for the provision of passenger rail services within New South Wales.

RailCorp may require, from time to time, the provision of certain services including:-

To ensure continuity of compartment integrity for fire & smoke containment, comprising Passive Fire vertical & horizontal compartment barriers including Fire Doors, Fire Shutters, Fire Curtains, Fire Dampers, Access Panels, Fire and Smoke Containment Barriers & Service Penetrations at Sydney Metro Rail Network.

 

At present Railcorp carries out repair works to Passive Fire elements on an ad-hoc basis but do not carry out regular periodic inspections of these assets. The purpose of this contract is to establish specialist Inspection, Testing, Proposal for Remedial Action, Maintenance & Reporting to determine the condition & identify the actions (& costs of the actions) required to maintain the Passive Fire assets in a condition that meets their intended requirements & to satisfy the requirements of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) & Australian Standards.

 RailCorp is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (“the RFT”) from suppliers who have a demonstrative ability to supply these Services (“the Services”) at such times and in such quantities as RailCorp may require.
