Property & Facilities Management Services - Managing Contract - RFT802374

Preamble

The NSW State Government established the State Property Authority (SPA) in September 2006 as a corporation designed to specialise in the acquisition, management and disposal of Government owned property. SPA is currently in a transition phase whereby portfolios of government properties are being vested to it for management.

 The purpose of this Request for Tender (“the RFT”) is to obtain tenders from organisations, selected following an Expression of Interest process, that possess the necessary skills and capabilities to perform property management, facilities management and deliver minor capital works projects under a managing contract for SPA.

 Tenders will be assessed on the capability and capacity of the selected organisations to perform the Services and value for money.

 This Preamble is in summary form only for the convenience of Tenderers and must not be relied upon by Tenderers. It is subject to the detailed requirements in Parts A-D of this RFT. Without limitation, the proposed scope of requirements outlined in the RFT may be subject to amendment in accordance with Addenda issued under clause 1.6.1 of the Conditions of Tender

Pre-Qualified / Invited - Only those directly invited to tender, may obtain an RFT for the purpose of lodging a tender response. Generally an invitation from a pre-qualified register of approved tenderers who have the ability to undertake the particular work or type of work proposed, a limited number of service providers are known to carry out the work or service (or in emergency or other restricted situations). Tenderers have usually been pre-qualified, accredited, or selected for the type of work and financial range. Competitive bids called from a standing offer (panel / period) contracts would also use this type.
