Sydney Water is upgrading the treatment plants at Castle Hill, Rouse Hill and Riverstone and linking them to create the North West Treatment Hub. This will require liquid stream works at Castle Hill and Rouse Hill, Waste Water Treatment Plant Biosolids Amplification at Riverstone, and new sludge transfer pipelines, pumping stations and associated facilities.
An alliance framework model has been chosen for the delivery of North West Treatment Hub Growth Program, following a thorough process which incorporated feedback from a broad cross section of the industry.
In mid to late June, Sydney Water will invite expressions of interest (EoI) from industry to form a successful alliance to deliver the North West Treatment Hub Growth Program. This alliance will lead industry in the effective, efficient, collaborative and integrated delivery of complex infrastructure.
