Corrective Services Industries (CSI) intends to establish a panel of suppliers comprising organisations that can demonstrate the appropriate resources, capability and experience in supplying and delivering the Cork and Steel products to meet CSI’s requirement.

CSI procures Cork and Steel raw material for use in CSI’s business operations. CSI requires suppliers to supply and deliver to the following nominated locations 

• Cessnock Correctional Centre

• Hunter Correctional Centre

• Glen Innes Correctional Centre

• John Morony Correctional Centre

• Kirkconnell Correctional Centre

• Macquarie Correction Centre

• St Heliers Correctional Centre

• Wellington Correctional Centre

Suppliers must possess the capability to supply the goods to the nominated locations required by CSI, including those identified above and any additional correctional centres within NSW from time to time. 

CSI will place a purchase order for goods to be provided as a single delivery or for multiple deliveries. Orders for single deliveries will generally be placed on an as needs basis. Where goods are used on a regular basis, an order may be placed for recurrent deliveries over a stipulated time period. CSI will endeavour to provide Suppliers with a minimum of one-week lead-time between order placement and the stipulated delivery date.

The goods will be charged on a unit price basis. The unit prices must include all manufacture, warehousing, logistics and supply costs. 

The panel arrangement will be for a term of three (3) years plus two (2) optional extension periods, each of twelve (12) month duration.

This tender opportunity can only be accessed and responded via the Department’s end-to-end procurement system, Procurement Central.
Any submission lodged outside of Procurement Central will not be considered by the Department.
