CSNSW is investigating strategies to complement and / or enhance its capabilities to mitigate the contraband risks and is gathering information about technological solutions available in the market.
CSNSW is seeking information about approaches and technologies which can detect and prevent contraband being introduced via the gate (pedestrian, goods and vehicle entrances), over the fence, or by mail.
Respondents are being asked to provide detailed information on available technologies that may be suitable for deployment in correctional centres to mitigate the risk.
The RFI can only be accessed and responded via the Department’s end to end procurement system, Procurement Central. Any submission lodged outside of Procurement Central will not be considered by the Department.
