Tender Details
This project seeks to review victim satisfaction since the Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR) report was conducted in 2006/7 and build on this work by: investigating how victim satisfaction may change over time including reviewing the aspects of the process that were helpful and unhelpful; review victims expectations of the program including why victims may not want to attend a Forum and identify victims service needs.
The program has data from questionnaires that have been completed by Forum participants since the BOCSAR study was completed. It is envisaged that the researcher may use some or all of this data as part of the review of victim satisfaction.
In order to review victim satisfaction, it is envisaged that the researcher will conduct initial and then follow up interviews with victims who participate in a Forum. It is envisaged that follow up interview will also be conducted with victims who have previously participated in a Forum.
In addition, it is envisaged that the researcher will also speak to victims that chose not to attend a Forum in order to better understand the barriers for victims and the expectations they may have of a Forum and its outcomes.
