Tender Details

NSW Department of Family and Community Services - Community Services is the leading provider of community services in NSW and the largest child protection agency in Australia. Community Services works in collaboration with non-government service providers and government agencies to provide better services and support to children, young people and their families. Community Services funds over 1,700 agencies for over 3,400 services and projects across NSW through a number of funding programs, in an effort to achieve the NSW Government’s priority that children, families and communities are safer, healthier and more resilient. 

To assist people who do not speak English, NSW Department of Family and Community Services-Community Services is seeking a language service provider that can provide interpreting services in a wide range of languages to agencies when carrying out the funded service. Interpreting services required include telephone, on-site and AUSLAN. 

To optimise coverage across NSW, tenderers may incorporate arrangements with local individual NAATI-accredited interpreters i.e. based in regional areas. 

There are other eligible agencies envisaged to also utilise this Contract 1100097. Where another NSW department will use this facility, a separate Agreement is to be executed.

Electronic Tender Box Security
During the lodgement process all submitted responses received successfully are encrypted by the system for security and stored securely in the web site  “electronic tender box”.

All responses that are received can only be accessed, un-encrypted and opened after the RFT has officially closed.
This is done though a controlled Tender Opening process managed  by the Agency’s Tender Opening Committee.
