NSW Department of Communities and Justice / Delivery of Entertainment and Production Management Services for Premier's Gala Concerts - RFX_830

The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) organises and delivers the Premier’s Gala Concerts annually during the NSW Seniors Festival. These free concerts for NSW seniors are held at Aware Super Theatre, ICC Sydney. Hosted by the NSW Premier, the Concerts have run annually for 65 years.

 

The Concerts are an initiative of the Ageing Well in NSW: Seniors Strategy 2021–2031, focus area 2: Participating in inclusive communities. The Concerts are one way that the NSW government thanks seniors for their contributions to the state.

 

People aged 60+, Aboriginal people aged 50+, people aged 50+ with a lifelong disability and their carer’s are eligible to attend. Every year up to 32,000 seniors primarily from Sydney, the Illawarra, the Central Coast and Blue Mountains attend.

 

The successful tenderer will manage the production, creative development, and entertainment of the Premier’s Gala Concerts during 2024 – 2027 for an initial period of 4 years, with an option to extend by 12 months. This is a total term for 5 years.

The upcoming tender opportunity can only be accessed and responded via the Department’s end to end procurement system, Procurement Central. Any submission lodged outside of Procurement Central will not be considered by the Department.
