Tender Details
The Major Projects Directorate of Housing NSW (Principal) proposes to redevelop six sites within the Concord and Abbotsford area. These sites compromise of at least two or more adjoining lots currently accommodating low density residential dwellings. The sites offer an opportunity for redevelopment with a greater increase in the number of dwellings available for social housing.
Currently there are 29 existing dwellings and it is possible to increase this yield to around 88 dwellings for seniors housing through redevelopment of current lots which accommodate low density single residential dwellings or bed sitters.
Redevelopment of the existing properties will enable Housing NSW to deliver its Social Housing for Older People policy as well as the broader objectives of the Sydney Metropolitan Strategy. The Governments aim is to provide modern, adaptable and affordable homes that match the needs of applicants and are built on well located sites with easy access to services and facilities.
