The Cowper Street Glebe Redevelopment Project (the Project) is primarily located in the suburb of Glebe, at the confluence of streets known as Cowper Street, Elger Street and Wentworth Street and covers an area of approximately 13,350 square metres.
In 2008, the NSW Government announced a redevelopment project at Glebe which will see the area incorporate new and increased social housing, along with affordable housing and new private housing.
This request for tender is for the full demolition of 15 existing residential flat buildings, removal of existing trees and remediation of the site. Housing NSW is seeking to engage, from its panel of pre-qualified demolition contractors, a suitably qualified contractor to undertake demolition, hazardous material removal and remediation, in accordance with all statutory and legislative requirements.

Four firms from Housing NSW's panel of pre-qualified demolition contractors are invited to respond to this request for tender. These firms have been provided the RFT access passcode required to download the tender documents. Tenders from any other firm will not be considered.
