Tender Details
The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) are inviting applications from suitably qualified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander facilitation service providers experienced in a child protection or family focused context, for appointment to a pre-qualified panel of family group conferencing facilitators. Successful applicants will be appointed to the Panel for a period ending 28 May 2022, with an option to extend for a further two (2) years. Employees of the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) are ineligible to be appointed to the DCJ panel of providers. Applicants may choose to provide evidence regarding their experience via an interview.
Applicants with transferrable skills, however requiring additional capability building support, will be identified for coaching support from an experienced FGC facilitator and/or the opportunity to be considered for access to funding for training in Family Group Conferencing.

The program will run information sessions as following;
Information Session 1 – 9.30am, Tuesday 19 January 2021
DCJ will be hosting an information session about what it is like to be an FGC facilitator for DCJ. The session will be hosted by an Aboriginal FGC facilitator from the DCJ panel. Please feel free to join by registering your details via the email address below.
Information Session 2 – 9.30am, Wednesday 20 January 2021
DCJ will be hosting an information session on how to apply to this tender. This will provide an opportunity for any interested applicants to ask questions regarding this tender.
Information Session 3 – 9.30am, Wednesday 17 February 2021
DCJ will be hosting an information session on What it is like to be a Family Group Conferencing Facilitator. This will provide an opportunity for any interested applicants to ask questions regarding this tender.
