NSW Department of Communities and Justice / Practice Guide - Minimum Standards for Domestic Violence Behaviour Change Programs in NSW - DJAG 2011/26

The NSW Government is introducing minimum standards for domestic violence behaviour change group programs in NSW. The NSW Department of Attorney General and Justice wishes to engage a contractor to develop a practice guide for providers of domestic violence behaviour change programs. The practice guide will support program providers to implement the minimum standards.

The guide will draw on recent , research to discuss effective practice in addressing domestic violence within group settings. The guide will also address each of the minimum standards and provide a description of optimal, acceptable and unacceptable practice, as well as sample policies and procedures, to ensure that agencies are supported to develop good practice and to comply with the standards.
