Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / Western Harbour Tunnel and Warringah Freeway Upgrade - Independent Auditor - 22.0000139213.2162

Transport for NSW (Transport) is inviting suitably experienced and qualified organisations to participate in the tender process for the Independent Auditor services for the Western Harbour Tunnel and Warringah Freeway Upgrade Project (the Project).

The Project will require an Independent Auditor to fulfil set tasks as defined in the Conditions of Approval and undertaking independent audits of Project compliance and performance with the approved Conditions of Approval.

The Project is funded by the NSW Government and is being procured and delivered by Transport.

To successfully participate in the tender process for the Project, organisations and their nominated Independent Auditor/s:

1.       Must provide evidences/substantiations to meet the minimum requirements listed below

2.       Must have experience in implementing Independent Audit Post Approval Requirements (DPIE, 2020) for linear infrastructure Projects in NSW

3.       Must have certification as a lead or principal environmental auditor with a relevant industry body (i.e. JAS-ANZ Exemplar Global or an organisation accredited by JAS-ANZ or Exemplar Global) or other suitable qualifications.

4.       Must have experience in relation to linear infrastructure that have been subject to environmental impact assessment, environmental management, compliance and auditing.

5.       Must have capacity to provide two Independent Auditors (primary and alternate) for the duration of the Project’s program; anticipated to conclude in 2029.

6.       Provide an Audit Program detailing an:

• Audit Schedule (as outlined in the RFT)
• Audit Methodology
• Detail the requirements and scope of the audit/s.

7.       Provide examples of previous audit report/s for linear infrastructure projects.
