TransGrid / Insulating Oil Testing - Q8/09

This specification covers the testing of insulating oil used in high voltage electrical equipment associated with the New South Wales High Voltage Transmission Grid located within Northern Region, from 1^st June 2009 to 31^st may 2011.

Oil testing includes dissolved gas analysis; moisture content; interfacial tension; electrical breakdown strength; dielectric dissipation factor; polychlorinated biphenyl content; furans and degree of polymerisation.
