TransGrid / Civil and electrical works at Central Region - Q50/10

The works cover civil and electrical requirements to replace various high voltage equipment at Substations within the Principals Central Metropolitan Area.

The Contractor is responsible for the civil and electrical work associated with the replacement and/or upgrade of 330kV, 132kV and 66kV equipment located at the Principal’s Central Metropolitan Area Substations.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

A mandatory site inspection will be held on Thursday 20^th May, 2010 commencing at 10.00 am at Sydney West Substation 330/132kV Substation, which is located at 200 Old Wallgrove Rd, Eastern Creek, NSW, 2175.

Note:   It is a requirement that tenderers be wearing long sleeved shirts with high visibility vest or high visibility long sleeved shirt, long trousers, safety helmet and closed sturdy footwear to gain entry to the switchyard during the site inspection.
