TransGrid / Minor Bund Repairs and Sealing at Various Metropolitan Substations - Q51/09

This specification requires the repair, preparation and sealing of bunded areas at the following TransGrid Substations.-

Dapto 330 kV Substation, Ingleburn 330 kV Substation, Kemps Creek 500 kV Substation, Liverpool 330 kV Substation, Sydney East 330 kV Substation (Belrose) & Sydney North 330 kV Substation (Dural).

The works includes but is not limited to;

·         Repair brick and/or mortar of bund walls

·         Clean bund areas

·         Inspect for cracks and repair

·         Seal bund areas

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

The Tenderer shall attend all Mandatory Site Inspections to fully acquaint themselves with matters and conditions affecting the work.

The site inspection will be conducted by the Principal's representative Phil Kofler.  Attendees are requested to register their attendance by contacting Phil Kofler on (02) 9620-0619 or by e-mail to phil.kofler@transgrid.com.au

It is proposed to grant Possession of Site within two (2) weeks of the issue of the Principal’s Purchase Order.

Practical Completion for all works at all sites is twenty (20) weeks from the Possession of Site Date.
