This Specification covers the Grass Cutting and Associated Services to maintain Metropolitan Area Centre Wallgrove and Sydney West, Sydney South, Regentville, Kemps Creek, Ingleburn and Liverpool Substations, for a two-year period with an option for a further three one year extensions at the discretion of the Principal.
The grass cutting requirements for the seven sites covers both working inside the High Voltage Switchyard and on the grounds surrounding the Substations.
The associated services requirements for the seven sites covers weed control as specified, maintenance of garden areas and trees, maintenance of fire breaks, maintenance of gutters & drains, gardening duties, such as plant and shrub maintenance and replacement, and minor items of landscaping as requested. The Contractor will need to hold current licenses to carry out this work.
Contractors Staff must become qualified to enter High Voltage Switchyards by completing the Principal’s High Voltage training course as soon as possible after a Purchase Order has been placed but before any work can commence, annual refresher training must be undertaken to keep these qualifications current.
