This Specification covers the wet hire of a suitable helicopter, qualified pilot and ground support staff to conduct aerial inspections on the Principal’s transmission lines, within the state of NSW.
Work under this contract requires:- 1. Low level flights along transmission lines to monitor vegetation growth beneath and to the side of the conductors to record locations that breach safe clearances. 2. During the flight, also inspect transmission line hardware components and record defects. The Principal will provide suitably trained staff to monitor and record defects found during inspections.
