Currently the Principal does not have an enterprise system to manage Supplier performance. Business units have individual processes to manage their Suppliers using a combination of Excel spreadsheets and Access databases. There is no visibility of Supplier performance across the organisation nor are consistent records held by business units.
A single corporate solution is required to provide a consolidated view of Suppliers engaged by various business units and consistency in rating their performance. See Appendix 1 for a structured representation at a high level of the envisioned solution.
The solution is intended to be delivered under “Software as a Service” (SaaS) arrangements.
