TransGrid / Civil and Electrical Works for the Augmentation of Finley 132/66kV SS - 1206

Civil and Electrical works to undertake the replacement of one existing transformer with a new 60MVA unit and the installation of a additional 60MVA transformer. Additional work to construct two new 132kV line bays, extension of 132kV and 66kV busbars, an additional 66kV feeder line bay and a 66kV bus section circuit breaker.

The augmentation works will include the following:

* Installation of two new 132/66/11kV 60MVA transformers, two 11kV/415V 200kVA auxiliary transformers, and their transformer compounds,

* Removal and disposal of the existing 132/66/11kV transformer and 11kV/415V 100kVA auxiliary transformer, and demolition of the existing transformer compound,

* Construction of new 132kV and 66kV bays for one transformer,

* Extension of the existing 132kV and 66kV busbars,

* Construction of two new 132kV line bays and one new 66kV line bay,

* Refurbishment of a 132kV line bay,

* Installation of a new 66kV bus section circuit breaker.
