TransGrid / Security Fences for Tenterfield and Dumaresq Substations - 1257

The Works include the supply, fabrication, transport to site, construction, testing and commissioning of palisade security fencing at the above TransGrid Sites. The work includes setting out, preparation, installation of new fences, removal of existing fencing, construction of carparking and roadways, construction of a concrete retaining wall at Dumaresq, reshaping of unpaved areas as well as minor demolition and construction works and remediation of the sites.

This work will include, but not be limited to, the following items: a)Supply and installation of fencing and gates as detailed in drawings and specification and, where nominated, the removal of redundant fencing, b)Obtaining all regulatory and authority approvals required. c)Procurement and supply of all items, plant and equipment required to complete the Works except for those Principal-supplied items listed in Clause 1.5 of the specification. d)Preparation of technical data and test reports for Contractor-supplied plant and Equipment and forwarding to the Principal for review.

Mandatory Site Inspection will be held on Wednesday 12th November at Tenterfield Substation commencing at 8.00am and then travelling to Dumaresq Substation for a meeting at 12 Midday.
