Sydney North & Sydney East 330 kV Substations Supply and Installation of Four 330 kV De-Tuned 200 MVAr Capacitor Banks & Construction of Associated Switchbays

The scope of Works under this Specification covers the design, civil and electrical works required for the construction of two 330kV Capacitor Bank installations and associated HV equipment at both Sydney North & East 330/132kV Substations and the civil and electrical works required for the construction of two 330kV line switchbays each at the Substations to connect the Capacitor Bank installations and associated HV equipment to the existing HV system

NOTE: A Mandatory Site inspection will be held on 26 September, 2007 commencing at 10.00 am at Sydney North Substation, Dural, and there after at Sydney East Substation, Belrose.

All persons attending the site inspection must wear long sleeve shirts, trousers, safety helmets, enclosed footwear and high visibility shirts or vests. Persons not so attired will not be allowed to enter the switchyard.
