TransGrid / Security Fence And Associated Civil Works at Seven (7) Northern Region Substations - 1233

The Manufacture, Supply, and Installation of Palisade Security Fencing and associated civil works at seven (7) Northern Region Substations. These works have been divided into 3 Separable Portions:

Separable Portion No. 1 - Inverell 132 kV, Moree 132 kV & Narrabri 132 kV Substations
Separable Portion No. 2 - Gunnedah 132 kV & Tamworth 132 kV Substations
Separable Portion No. 3 - Muswellbrook 330 kV & Bayswater 330 kV Substations

Tenders must submit Tenders for the Whole of Works within each Separable Portion, but may elect to submit offers for any combination of Separable Portions.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Mandatory site inspections will be held as detailed below;

Separable Portion No. 1 - Tuesday 18th December 2007
Narrabri - 7.00 am, then Moree - approx. 9.00 am, then Inverell - approx. 11.30 am

Separable Portion No. 2 - Monday 17th December 2007
Tamworth - 2.00 pm, then Gunnedah - approx. 4.00 pm

Separable Portion No. 3 - Monday 17th December 2007
Bayswater - 8.00 am, then Muswellbrook - approx. 11.00 am

NOTE: Tenderers must attend all sites for each Separable Portion for which they intend to submit a Tender. .

All prospective attendees shall register their intentions with Mr Neil Mitchell on 02-4967-8774 or neil.mitchell @transgrid.com.au by Wednesday 12th December 2007 (to allow time for arrangements to be finalised).
All persons attending the site inspection must wear long sleeve shirts, long trousers, enclosed safety footwear and high-visibility shirts or vests.
Persons wishing to enter any switchyard shall also wear safety helmets. Entry will only be granted where a closer inspection is warranted.
