TransGrid / Civil and Electrical Works for the Construction and Commissioning of 132kV Switchbay at Tuggerah 330/132kV Substation - 1184

The Works required under the Specification cover the provision of the construction and connection of a new 132kV switchbay which included: . The works wholly based on the Principal's designs; installation of piles, excavation and construction of pile caps for swirchbay equipment & landing span gantry;extension of existing earthgrid as required;extension of existing cable trench and switchyard drainage;erection of steel works for landing span gantry & post insulators for voltage transformer:erection of steel works for Disconnectors and Earth Switch;installation of Disconnectors and Earth Switch, Post Insulators and Voltage transformer;earthing of all equipment and connection to earth grid;installation of Marshalling Kiosk;HV and LV connection between all equipment including connection to the existing busbar; installation of secondary wiring between the switchbay equipment, Marshalling Kiosk and control and protection panels in the Auxiliary Services Building.
