This specification requires the supply of up to thirty three (33) x 10,000 litre and four (4) x 20,000 litre PVC collapsible oil recovery tanks capable of rapid deployment to TransGrid Substations and Depots for use as a temporary emergency containment for fire waters over and above which, in most cases, already exists at Substations and depots in the form of Secondary Containment Facilities (SCF) -dams.
The tenderer is to provide on-site training to selected TransGrid staff in the deployment/use/repacking/repair and maintenance of the Collapsible Oil Recovery Tank and the use/maintenance of the petrol driven fire pump and suction hoses.
