Tender Details
This specification covers the testing of insulating oil used in high voltage electrical equipment associated with the New South Wales High Voltage Transmission Grid located within Central Region, from 1st January 2007 to 31st December 2008. An option for an additional two years (1st January 2009 to 31st December 2010) is also available under this contract at the sole discretion of the Principal.
Oil testing includes dissolved gas analysis; moisture content; interfacial tension; electrical breakdown strength; dielectric dissipation factor; polychlorinated biphenyl content; furans and degree of polymerisation. The testing forms part of the diagnostic testing and condition-monitoring program used to maintain the high voltage equipment.
