The Works primarily consists of the construction of two new switchbays, demolition of existing transformer compound and construction of a new compound to facilitate the installation of a 132kV Phase Shifting Transformer.

Tenderers shall attend a mandatory inspection of the Site to fully acquaint themselves with the Site and the Works required.
The mandatory Site inspection for Tenderers has been arranged and shall be undertaken on the Site at 11:00am Wednesday 2 April 2008.
Further information on the Site inspection can be obtained by contacting TransGrid's representative Mr Dany Gittani on 02 8204 6362.
Tenderers shall be suitably dressed for this inspection and that personnel wearing leisure clothing (e.g. beachwear, thongs, open footwear, singlets etc.) will not be permitted to participate.
