TransGrid / Palisade Fence D-Pale Replacements - Q19/09

The replacement of the existing D-pales with W-pales at Sydney South, Sydney North and Wellington substations. This includes the removal and disposal of the existing pales and supply and installation of new W-pales on the existing palisade fence structure including gates.   

All Tenderers must make a site inspection of the Sydney South Substation as an example site prior to closing of Tenders to fully acquaint themselves with matters and conditions affecting the work. This site inspection will occur at 9am on Monday 9^th March 2009.

 It should be noted that the Sydney South site inspection is a mandatory requirement for Tenders to be considered.

All Tenderers may make inspections of the other sites prior to closing of Quotations on the following dates. The inspections at these sites must be confirmed 48 hours before the scheduled inspection.

Sydney North – Monday 9^th March at 12pm

Wellington – Tuesday 10^th  March at 11am

a) Tenders must be for the whole of the works specified and include for the performance of all obligations set out in the Specification. Tenders for only part of the work will not be considered.

b) The tender price submitted must be FIRM (i.e. not subject to adjustment for variations in cost) for the period of the contract.

c) All tenders must attend a mandatory site inspection as above.
