Tender Details

The Principal’s Vineyard substation is located in Western Sydney, NSW and supplies power to Integral Energy’s zone substations in the area.  To accommodate growing load in the area, the substation is to be augmented by the provision of an additional 330/132 kV transformer unit and associated switchbays.  The Principal will supply the transformer and HV plant. The Contractor will be responsible for all Civil and Electrical works, including high and low voltage connections and carrying out pre-commissioning tests.

 

The augmentation works include the following:

 

  • Extension of the existing switchyard bench,
  • Construction of one new transformer compound,
  • Installation of one new 330/132kV transformer and auxiliary transformer,
  • Construction of two associated 330kV and 132kV transformer switchbays,
  • Connection of transformer compound into existing site spill oil containment system.
  • Upgrading and enlarging the secondary oil containment dam and outlet connections.

MANDATORY INSPECTION OF SITE

A mandatory site inspection will be held on 1st June 2010 commencing at 10.30am at the existing Vineyard 330kV switchyard which is located on Bandon Drive, Vineyard NSW. Further information on the site inspection can be obtained by telephoning the technical contact.

All participants must register for the mandatory site inspection. All participants are to register via the technical contact.

All personnel attending the site inspection must wear long sleeve shirts, trousers, safety helmets, enclosed footwear, and high visibility shirts or vests when entering switchyards, along transmission line sites or in any other area where a safety helmet is required.
