Tender Details

The Principal requires various types of scheduled and non scheduled PCB contaminated electrical equipment (predominantly instrument transformers) to be picked up from the Principal’s sites and transported to the Contractor’s facilities for dismantling and disposal in an approved manner.

All PCB-contaminated materials must be treated to destroy the PCB contamination prior to disposal to landfill or a recycling facility.

The PCB contaminated equipment to be picked up and disposed is generally high voltage instrument transformers but may be any equipment that has PCB contamination. Any tenderers not familiar with this type of equipment shall contact the Principal for Technical issues or for an inspection of similar equipment.
