This tender is for Contract No.C6/2009 – Construction of Road Works and Drainage Works within Blacktown City Council area with the method of payment being Schedule of Rates, subject to Rise and Fall in costs.
The scope of work under this Contract will include some or all of the following:
¨ Construction or reconstruction of full width road including concrete kerb and gutter, mountable kerb for median, associated stormwater drainage, footway shaping, path paving and private property adjustments.
¨ Construction or reconstruction of full width or partial width pavement between existing kerb and gutter, with or without kerb and gutter construction.
¨ Construction or reconstruction of road shoulder.
¨ Construction or reconstruction of kerb and gutter only.
¨ Construction or reconstruction of kerb and gutter and adjoining road shoulder and sealing.
¨ Construction of piped stormwater drainage. This will generally, but not necessarily, be associated with road works.
¨ Construction of roundabouts.
¨ Construction or reconstruction of residential or industrial driveway crossings..
¨ Construction of drainage channels and retention basins.
¨ Construction of bridges or nominated sections of bridges where applicable.
All works will be within the Blacktown City Council area.

Tender documents may either be downloaded free of charge from www.tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc or obtained from the counter on the Ground Floor of Blacktown City Council’s Administration Centre at 62 Flushcombe Road, Blacktown, NSW 2148, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. A non refundable fee of $131.00 shall be paid for hardcopy tender documents.
Tenders shall either be electronically submitted via this website or lodged in Council’s Tender Box located on the Ground Floor of Blacktown City Council’s Administration Centre, 62 Flushcombe Road, Blacktown NSW 2148, in a sealed envelope addressed “Contract No. C6/2009 – Construction of Roadworks and Drainage Works” before the close of Tenders at 12:00 noon on Wednesday 5 August 2009.
