Corrective Services Industries (CSI) requires foil rolls for manufacturing aluminium meal trays for inmate meals. The manufacturing processes are undertaken at Wellington Correctional Centre.
The type and quantity of Goods will vary depending on CSI’s requirements unless stated otherwise on the purchase order, all Goods must be delivered within the order fulfillment time.
Suppliers must be able to provide Goods to the following standard specifications, with project specific finishes and to custom dimensions.

Stock Type and Levels
The Supplier will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet demand at all times.
The supplier is required to hold adequate safety stock of each good as per the following:
• Meal Tray - Alloy Rolls 8006 – Temper H23– 40 tonnes
• Apple Pie - Alloy 8011- Temper H24 – 1 tonne
• Meat Pie - Alloy 8011- Temper H24 – 1 tonne
No product substitution will be permitted unless prior agreement is reached between CSI and the Supplier. Where agreement has been reached, then the substituted brand must be of a like or superior quality.
Shortlisted Tenderers will be required to submit a sample of a minimum of one (1) complete roll of each of the goods that are being offered.
The goods will be charged on a per kilogram unit price basis. The unit prices must be in AUD, inclusive of GST and include all manufacture, warehousing, logistics and supply costs.
The arrangement will be for a term of three (3) years plus two (2) optional extension periods, each of twelve (12) month duration.
This tender opportunity can only be accessed and responded to via the Department’s end-to-end procurement system, Procurement Central.
