Tender Details

The Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) is seeking tenders for the supply, and installation of domestic split air conditioning systems on AHO properties. The initial program for works (FY24 Program) will require Tenderers to supply and install air conditioning split system in up to 1,038 AHO owned properties by 30 November 2024. It is expected that installation will commence from June 2024 and progressively ramp up to meet the program objectives.

A further similar sized program is expected for FY25, with an optional one-year extension variation of this Contract to supply and install air conditioning units including associated works from November 2024 onwards to meet future program requirements. This extension will be based on Contractor performance, the Contractors willingness to participate and at the AHO’s sole discretion.

 

The primary works under this Contract will be for the Supply and Installation of Air Conditioning, however other energy efficiency works may be required at each property to reduce Tenants energy consumption.

• The numbers of the properties are identified in suburbs which has been split into three zones provided (refer to Attachment 4a – Principal Document – Suburbs by Zones); and

• Tenderers will be required to price for each Zone separately and provide volume discounts if awarded more than one zone.

The primary works under this Contract will be for the Supply and Installation of Air Conditioning, however other energy efficiency works may be required at each property to reduce Tenants energy consumption. This scope includes:

• Servicing of existing heating and cooling systems

• Decommissioning of existing heating and cooling systems

• Supply and installation of ceiling fans

• Simple draught proofing measures

• Supply and install of LED lamps

• Minor building repairs as a result of the works.
